Learn MoreRalph’s has painted many pieces of recognising the work of the Penlee Lifeboat. The loss of the Penlee Lifeboat “Solomon Browne” in 1981 while going to the aid of the MV Union Star was a huge RNLI disaster and the bravery of its crew prompted him to paint a number of pieces in recognition of the event.
Ralph's interest in the sea stems from his volunteer work as a crew member on the Penlee Lifeboat where he served for over 12 years. Much of his work therefore reflects the RNLI as well as sea rescue and shipwreck.
Ralph undertakes commissions alternatively, he has current work available for purchase in the gallery.
